I saw a post on Twitter yesterday, that guy named @zxtcg, oh, quite a familiar name, who is this guy? Then I looked at his posts, huh, they’re all about some card game. Z/X? What’s this?

So I searched it up. Turns out it’s some Japanese trading card game. Z/X, Zillions of enemy X, what a mouthful! It’s got an anime and manga too, sounds pretty cool. Then I found out there’s this manga called Z/X Code reunion, drawn by Takuya Fujima. It seems to be related to this card game as well.

Okay, let me take a closer look. This Z/X game, you play it one-on-one, and there’s a battlefield with 33 squares? Sounds a bit complicated. You use different cards to fight each other. Okay, that sounds kind of interesting.

I got interested in this game called Z/X. I looked up its gameplay. To start with, I found this information that players had to prepare some cards. It is a one-on-one game. And it has a big battlefield with 3×3. Players have their own areas and they can put cards on them. I spent a whole day studying how to play it. Oh, there are so many types of cards. Different cards have different usages. But I found it is really fun.

I decided to give it a try. I found a store that sells Z/X cards. I bought some starter decks. They have many beautiful girls on them. I couldn’t wait to start a game. Then I started to play with my friend. We spent the whole night playing it. We used different cards and tried to defeat each other. We shouted and laughed. I summoned this and he summoned that. Finally, I defeated him with my last card! I won! I couldn’t hold my excitement!

After that, I began to dig more into this game. I learned that there were many sets of cards. Each set has its own theme and story. I also tried to collect some rare cards. Some of them are really expensive! But I think it was worth it. I also joined some local tournaments. I met many other players and made some new friends.
