So, I’ve been trying to figure out how to watch the LA Clippers games lately. It’s been a bit of a journey, let me tell you.

First, I stumbled upon something called ClipperVision. Apparently, it’s like the go-to way to watch Clippers games, plus some classic games and stuff. Sounds pretty neat, right? You can access it through the NBA app or NBA com, which is cool because I already use the NBA app for scores and highlights. You just need an NBA ID, and you are supposed to be able to watch. I signed up for that, no problem.
The Tricky Part
- But here’s where it got a little tricky. ClipperVision is supposed to work in most of California, Las Vegas, and Hawaii. I’m in California, so I thought I was golden. But I still couldn’t get it to work reliably.
- Then I looked into other options. I heard YouTube TV has some games, but not all. And my buddy told me about DIRECTV STREAM, which seems like a good bet because it carries ABC, ESPN, TNT, NBA TV, and even FanDuel Sports Network SoCal. Those channels seem to have all the Clippers games, so that’s a plus. I did a free trial with DIRECTV STREAM, and that seemed to work pretty well.
- I also found out about FuboTV, which has FanDuel Sports Network. I guess you can watch games there, too. I didn’t try it out though.
Anyway, I ended up sticking with DIRECTV STREAM for now. It’s not perfect, but it lets me watch the games. Oh, and I saw that the Clippers are playing the Grizzlies next. I guess their record is 16-13 right now. And apparently, the Clippers and the Mavericks have a pretty even record over the last 10 games, both winning 5 times. They even played on December 19, and the Clippers won 118-95. Go Clippers!
So yeah, that’s my experience with trying to watch Clippers games. It’s a bit of a mess with all these different services, but I’m glad I figured something out. I am still holding out hope that the NBA app and ClipperVision thing will work one day, but until then, I will stick with DIRECTV STREAM.
