My Morning with the Latest Chapter
Okay, so today was the day. Finally got some quiet time this morning, grabbed my usual cup of tea, and pulled up the latest chapter on my tablet. Been waiting all week, you know how it is, especially after seeing Kuma land last time. Needed to see what happened next.
So I opened it up. First thing that hit me? The giants! Dorry and Brogy just showing up out of the blue, smashing a navy ship? Man, that took me back. Didn’t expect them at all, but what a way to make an entrance. Totally chaotic, just like old times.
Then the focus shifted back to Bonney and Vegapunk. Things looked pretty grim. Seeing Bonney crying out, feeling helpless, that was tough. But then, the big twist – Vegapunk gave her control over the Pacifistas? Didn’t see that coming. Thought those things were just mindless tools for the World Government. Turns out, Vegapunk put in a failsafe based on Kuma’s authority, passing it down. Clever old man.
And the best part? Luffy is back! That sound, the Drums of Liberation, you just knew he wasn’t down for the count. Popped right back up in his Gear 5 form, looking all goofy and powerful. Seeing him punch Saturn square in the face? Absolutely satisfying. After all the build-up of how untouchable Saturn seemed, Luffy just decks him. Classic Luffy.
- Seeing Saturn actually get hit felt good.
- Kizaru just kinda… watched? Still can’t figure that guy out. Is he conflicted or just waiting?
- Bonney realizing Luffy is Nika – that was a moment. Tied things together nicely.
But man, Vegapunk… looks like he really took a fatal hit from Kizaru before. Seeing him lying there, giving his last message to Bonney, felt heavy. Hope he pulls through somehow, but it didn’t look good. He did manage to give Bonney that fighting chance, though.
So yeah, quite the chapter. Started with despair, got a big dose of surprise allies, a major power reveal moment for Bonney, Luffy back in action doing impossible things, and a potentially sad farewell. Lots packed in there. Now it’s back to waiting again. Wonder how Saturn’s gonna react to getting punched by Nika next week.
