So, I wanted to figure out when Chivas de Guadalajara was playing next. I’m a huge fan, and I just gotta know when I can catch them in action again, you know?

First, I grabbed my phone and fired up the browser. I started with a simple search, something like “Chivas de Guadalajara upcoming games”. The search engine gave me a bunch of results, but they were all over the place. Some were old news, others were just generic info about the team. I mean, I already know they’re nicknamed “Chivas” (Goats) and are based in Guadalajara – that’s basic stuff for any fan.
I kept scrolling and finally found a few decent results. One said they were playing against Pumas U.N.A.M. on November 3rd, 2024. That’s a while away, but good to know. Another mentioned a match against Las guilas on March 16th at 9 PM at the Fortaleza Rojiblanca, but that already happened, so it wasn’t helpful. I felt like a detective, sifting through clues, but not really finding the treasure.
Then, I stumbled upon another website that talked about their upcoming match against Santos Laguna at home. That sounded promising, but there was no specific date! It was frustrating. The information is all fragmented. It’s like they are trying to make it hard for fans to follow the team.
I went through more sites, some talking about ticket prices, but I already knew those average about $95. I did find a more solid date on one of them – it said the next match is on Saturday, June 29th. But, it didn’t say who they’re playing against!
Finally, the Answer!
After digging some more, I found out they will play at home against Santos Laguna as part of the Primera Division on Saturday, June 29th.

It took way longer than it should have. Seriously, it shouldn’t be this hard to find out when your favorite team is playing. They need to make this information easier to find. But hey, at least I know now. June 29th it is!
Here’s what I found out after all that searching:
- June 29th, 2024: Home game against Santos Laguna (Primera Division)
- November 3rd, 2024: Match against Pumas U.N.A.M.
Hopefully, this helps someone else out there trying to catch a Chivas game. It was a bit of a wild goose chase, but we got there in the end. Go Chivas!
