Okay, so I’ve been wanting to go to a NASCAR race for a while now, and I finally decided to make it happen. The thing is, I needed to figure out when the race was happening in Phoenix, Arizona. I’m not a huge NASCAR follower, so I didn’t know the schedule off the top of my head. I’m in the Phoenix area, so naturally, that’s the race I wanted to see.
First, I just did a quick search online to see when NASCAR was coming to Phoenix. It turns out they have a few races there, but the big one I was interested in is the NASCAR Cup Series Championship. That’s like the Super Bowl of NASCAR, so it sounded pretty exciting.
After digging a little more, I found out the championship race is happening on Sunday, November 10, 2024. It’s a 312-lap race, which I guess is a pretty big deal in the NASCAR world. Apparently, this race is the culmination of the whole season, so it’s kind of a must-see if you’re into this kind of thing. There’s also another race happening in March, which is March 8-10, but I’m most interested in November. I guess it’s because of the nice weather during that time.
Now that I knew the date, I needed to think about tickets. I’m not sure how much they cost, but I saw something online about prices changing depending on when you buy them and where you’re sitting. I’ll have to do some more research on that, but at least I have a date to work with.
