Okay, so today I want to talk about something that’s been on my mind for a while – the 2013 Boston Red Sox roster. Now, I’m a huge Red Sox fan, and that year was just magical, right? We went from worst to first, and it was one heck of a ride.

- Infielders: I remember these guys – Mike Carp, Pedro Ciriaco, Jose Iglesias, Will Middlebrooks, Mike Napoli, and of course, Dustin Pedroia.
- Outfielders: This is where it gets really fun – Jackie Bradley Jr., Jacoby Ellsbury, Jonny Gomes, Daniel Nava, and Shane Victorino.
Then I dug a little deeper. This team had a good mix of veterans and the younger players. They came together so perfectly. What a team! I read a bit about their history. Apparently, 2013 was their 9th World Series win.
I started looking for more details about the 2013 season because I wanted to remember how many wins they had that year. It turns out they had 97 wins and 65 losses. That’s a pretty amazing record if you ask me. Under their new manager, John Farrell, they finished first in the American League East.
Finally, I came across a list of the 25-man active roster for the 2013 World Series. I won’t bore you with the whole list of pitchers, but I do remember Koji Uehara being a beast that year. The fact that they made it to the World Series after the season they had just blew my mind. They brought so much joy to Boston that year.
