What Does Keep Picks in Bet Slip Mean? Learn the Basics!

Okay, so the other day I was messing around with placing some bets online, just for fun, you know? I was adding a bunch of different things to my bet slip, kind of like window shopping for bets. And then I saw this little checkbox that said “Keep Picks in Bet Slip.” I was like, “Huh, what’s that about?”

So, naturally, I started clicking around, trying to figure it out. I placed a couple of test bets with the box checked and a couple without it. And you know what I found out? It’s actually pretty simple. When you check that “Keep Picks in Bet Slip” box, it means that after you place a bet, the things you picked stay in your bet slip.

At first, I didn’t see the point. I mean, once you place a bet, why would you want to keep those same picks in the slip? But then it hit me. I usually like to make several bets, and sometimes I like to think about my strategy for a bit. Maybe I want to see how different combinations of bets will affect my overall odds, or maybe I just want to keep track of everything I’m thinking about betting on.

So when I added my picks, I wanted to keep them in my bet slip to build my bet. Then I realized that after placing the bet, it was very time-consuming to add those picks again. I placed a few bets with “keep picks” checked, and they were recorded normally, which does not affect my betting.

Here’s the breakdown:

  • “Keep Picks in Bet Slip” checked: You make your bet, and the picks stay in the slip. You can then remove them, add more, change them, whatever you want. This is what I did.
  • “Keep Picks in Bet Slip” unchecked: You make your bet, and the slip clears out. You start fresh with an empty slip.

So, is it useful?

Honestly, it depends on how you like to bet. For me, I found it pretty handy. It saved me the trouble of having to re-add all my picks every time I wanted to tweak my bet slip. But if you’re the type of person who likes to start with a clean slate after every bet, then you probably won’t use it much. Basically, it just means you can keep your selections in the bet slip even after placing a bet.

Anyway, that’s my little discovery. It’s not exactly rocket science, but I figured I’d share it in case anyone else was wondering what that little checkbox did. Happy betting, folks!
