Oh boy, let me tell you about the hoops I jumped through to catch the Nuggets vs. Clippers game the other day. It’s a jungle out there when it comes to figuring out which channel or streaming service has the rights to these games.

First off, I scoured the internet for any info I could find. I dug through a bunch of articles and listings, and it seemed like the game was supposed to be on Altitude Sports or Altitude+, which is like the home base for Denver Nuggets games. Apparently, they also have this new thing called Altitude+ where you can directly stream some games, but not the ones that are exclusively on national TV.
Then I checked my own TV package. I have DIRECTV, so I was hopeful. And wouldn’t you know it, Altitude Sports is available there! But just to be sure, I also saw that the game was listed on NBA TV for Friday, December 13th, at 9:00 PM ET. You never can be too sure with these things, right?
- I scanned through the channel listings on my DIRECTV guide.
- Lo and behold, there it was: NBA TV, Channel 216. Altitude Sports was also right there, as expected.
- Double-checked the date and time. It was definitely Friday, December 13th, 9:00 PM ET.
So, I set a reminder on my phone, grabbed some snacks, and settled in on the couch. When the time came, I flipped to NBA TV, and there it was – the Nuggets vs. Clippers game, live and in glorious HD.
It turns out that the game might be broadcasted on various channels such as ESPN: Channel 206, TNT: Channel 245, and ABC. But you know finding your local affiliate channel for ABC is easy. By the way, I heard that LA Clippers have a good odds to win this game which is around +200.
It was a bit of a wild goose chase, but I managed to watch the game in the end. Gotta love the lengths we go to for our favorite sports, huh?

Anyway, that’s my little adventure in TV land.
Next time, I’ll probably just double-check the NBA TV schedule first. Live and learn, right?
