What are the Temporal Forces pull rates looking like? Check out the latest collector data now!

Alright, let’s talk about my recent dive into opening Temporal Forces packs. I wanted to get a feel for the pull rates myself, you know, hands-on, instead of just reading stuff online. So, I decided to document what I found.

Getting Started

First thing I did was secure some product. I managed to get my hands on a few booster boxes – wasn’t super easy, had to check a couple of spots, but I got ’em. I decided two boxes would be a decent starting point to see what kind of hits I might pull.

The Opening Process

I sat down one afternoon, cleared my table, and just started opening. I went pack by pack, trying to be methodical. I wasn’t rushing it. For each pack, I did the little card trick thing to put the rare at the back. I made separate piles: one for bulk commons/uncommons, one for reverse holos, one for regular holos, and then a pile for the actual hits – anything fancier than a regular holo rare.

I kept a simple notepad next to me. Every time I pulled something interesting (like an Illustration Rare, Full Art, etc.), I just made a tally mark under a category I wrote down beforehand. Stuff like:

  • Illustration Rare (IR)
  • Special Illustration Rare (SIR)
  • Ultra Rare (Full Art Pokémon/Trainer)
  • Hyper Rare (Gold)
  • ACE SPEC

I did this for the first box completely, then took a small break, and repeated the whole process for the second box.

My Findings from the Boxes

So, after ripping through all 72 packs across the two boxes, here’s roughly what I jotted down based on my tallies:

Box 1:

  • Felt like I got maybe 5 Illustration Rares. They popped up fairly regularly.
  • Pulled 2 Ultra Rares (one Pokémon ex Full Art, one Supporter Full Art).
  • Managed to hit one Special Illustration Rare, which was pretty sweet.
  • Got one ACE SPEC card.
  • No Hyper Rares (golds) in this specific box.

Box 2:

  • This box felt a bit luckier with Illustration Rares, I think I counted 6.
  • Got another Ultra Rare, just one this time (a Pokémon ex Full Art).
  • Hit another Special Illustration Rare! Was surprised to get one in each box.
  • Also found one ACE SPEC card here too.
  • And finally, I pulled one Hyper Rare (gold card) from this box.

Summing Up My Experience

So, looking at my notes from just these two boxes, it felt like Illustration Rares were showing up maybe 5-6 times per box. Special Illustration Rares seemed like maybe one per box, but obviously, two boxes isn’t a huge sample size, could’ve just been decent luck for me. Ultra Rares were maybe 1-2 per box. ACE SPEC cards seemed pretty consistent at one per box. And the Hyper Rare, well, I only got one across the two boxes.

That’s pretty much my journey opening those Temporal Forces packs and trying to keep track. It’s always a bit of a gamble, but it was fun to see the cards and make my own notes on what came out of the packs I personally opened. Just sharing my own run, your mileage might vary, obviously.
