Okay, so, I’ve always been a huge basketball fan, right? And like any fan, I’m kinda obsessed with the gear, especially the shoes. I mean, who isn’t? I started wondering, what are the actual go-to shoes for the pros in the NBA? Not the ones they’re paid to wear, but the ones they choose to wear.
So I thought, I gotta figure this out. I decided to do some digging. It wasn’t easy, let me tell you. I spent hours, days even, scraping through websites. I checked players’ game photos, their social media, fan forums, pretty much everywhere I could think of. It was a mess, I had data scattered all over the place. Eventually, I put together this massive spreadsheet. Yeah, I’m that guy, I love spreadsheets.
My Findings
After all that work, I finally started to see some clear patterns. Turns out, the pros have their favorites, just like us!
- NIKE KOBE 6 – This shoe was a real winner. I counted it showing up a whopping 2823 times! That’s a lot of love for the KOBE 6. It was really surprising to me that this shoe was so popular amongst the players.
- NIKE KD 16 – Coming in second place, this one was picked 1566 times. Still a popular choice, but not quite as dominant as the KOBE 6. But still, I saw these shoes on a ton of players.
It was really cool to see the results. It’s like, we all have our favorite shoes, whether we’re playing in the NBA or just shooting hoops in the park, right? I guess a good shoe is a good shoe. And I’m really happy about what I found and can share with you guys, I definitely will do this kind of thing again!
