Okay, so today I want to talk about what happened when I tried to get into this “Thunder Sicurezzing” thing. It’s kind of a mess, but it was a learning experience, so I figured I’d share.

First off, I jumped in headfirst. I mean, who doesn’t, right? So, I found this game, War Thunder, and I thought “cool, planes and tanks and stuff, let’s do it!” I did some quick reads about it. Someone said to wait between 30 seconds and 2 minutes to spawn. What’s that about? I didn’t get it at the time. I just wanted to jump in and blow things up.
Then I went in, and boy, was it chaotic. I was trying to get the hang of the controls. I was getting shot down left and right. Some other place said to forget about KDs and just have fun. Easier said than done when you’re constantly exploding, you know? I got frustrated because it felt like I couldn’t get anything right.
My First Steps
- Downloaded the game. I did the usual, created an account and all that.
- Tried the tutorial. It was alright, I guess, but it didn’t really prepare me for the real thing.
- Jumped into a match. This is where the pain started.
After a few matches, I figured I needed to actually learn how to play this thing. Someone recommended that I do a barrel roll if I need to slow down. Okay, cool, but how? I tried, and it kinda worked, but I was still pretty bad.
I started to look for some tips online, you know, just something to help me suck less. I read to first get comfortable with a DMR or sniper rifle because the maps are huge. I did that. And it helped a little because I was far away from the action.
Things Get a Bit Better
- Watched some videos. I found some guys who were really good at the game and watched how they played.
- Tried to copy them. I mean, I wasn’t as good, but it was better than what I was doing before.
- Started to win a little. Not a lot, but enough to keep me going.
Then there was this whole other thing about security. It felt like a different world, but people online were talking about staying safe while playing games. There’s a ton of stuff out there about cybersecurity, but it all seemed so complicated. Someone even said to check out home security systems. What does that have to do with a game? I have no idea.

Anyway, I eventually got the hang of the game a bit more. I’m not great, but I’m not totally useless anymore. It took a while, but I learned a lot. I’m going to keep playing, keep learning, and maybe one day I’ll actually be good at this game. I’ll keep you all updated on my next move. See you next time!
