Okay, so I wanted to check out the Lochmere Golf Course, and let me tell you, it was a whole process. First, I tried to find some decent information online. I needed to figure out how to get there, what the course was like, and, of course, how much it was going to cost me.

I started by simply Googling “Lochmere Golf Course.” That gave me their website, and some other review sites. I dug into their site first, clicking through the pages to see if I could find the tee times and prices.
Booking and Getting There
I found the tee time booking section. I picked a date that worked for me and a time that wasn’t too early (I’m not a morning person, okay?).
Next, I needed directions. I used the map on their site. It opened a new tab, and there were some instruction how to get there. I copied those direction on a paper.
Playing the Course
When I finally got to the course, I checked in at the pro shop. Everyone was pretty friendly, and they got me set up with a cart.
The course itself? It was nice! I mean, I’m no pro, but I enjoyed it. There were some tricky holes, for sure. I definitely lost a few balls in the water, but hey, that’s golf, right?

- The fairways were in pretty good shape.
- The greens were fast, which I liked.
- There were a couple of holes with some nice views.
After I finished the round,I was tired and hungry. I will definitely try some other courses.
Overall, it was a good day. It took a little planning to get everything sorted, but once I was on the course, I had a good time. I’d recommend checking it out if you’re in the area, just be prepared to maybe lose a ball or two!
