Okay, so today I decided to figure out this whole “VCT Championship Points” thing. It’s for that game, you know, the one with the shooting and the abilities. I’ve been seeing it all over the place, and I finally wanted to understand what all the fuss was about.

Digging In
First, I opened up the game and poked around the menus. I mean, that’s the obvious first step, right? It’s like trying to assemble furniture – you gotta find the instructions first! Eventually I kind find the related pages and it started making some sense, the pages has a leaderboard, and that make all sense to me now.
The System, My way
It are use to select teams, for that big championship thing. More points, better chance of getting in. Makes sense, right? Like, you do good, you get rewarded. Basic stuff.
Earning Points
Now, how you earn these points, that’s where I was used to be a little stuck. After looking, it looks like you get them by, well, winning. Winning matches, winning tournaments, doing well in the big leagues. It’s all about performance.
- Win matches: Duh, right? More wins, more points.
- Do well in tournaments: The bigger the tournament, the more points are up for grabs.
- Be consistent: I think even just showing up and playing regularly gets you something.
My Final Thoughts
So, that’s my adventure for today. I went in blind, messed around a bit, and now I have a better understand. I’m still no expert, but hey, at least I’m not totally clueless anymore! Next time I see people talking about VCT points, I can at least nod along and pretend I know what’s going on.
