Okay, so I decided to check out the Lady Bird Johnson Golf Course, mostly because I kept hearing good things. I’m no pro, but I like to get out on the green when I can, and I’m always looking for a new course to try.

Getting Started
First, I did a quick search online for “lady bird johnson golf course reviews.” Just wanted to get a feel for what other people were saying. I looked at a few different websites. You know, just skimming through comments and star ratings. Saw a lot of positives, which was encouraging!
Digging Deeper
I focused on finding comments about the course conditions. I like a course that’s well-maintained. Nobody wants to play on patchy grass or deal with beat-up greens. I also checked out mentions of the difficulty level. I’m okay with a challenge, but I didn’t want something that would totally frustrate me.
Looking for Specifics
I also started to get more specific with my research. I started to read some comments about the course layout. I wanted to know if it was scenic, had some interesting holes, that kind of thing. I also kept an eye out for any notes about the clubhouse and other facilities, like the pro shop or restaurant, that could be fun to use.
- Course Condition: Looked for feedback about the greens, fairways, and bunkers.
- Difficulty: Wanted to gauge if it was suitable for my skill level.
- Scenery/Layout: Checked for comments about the views and overall design.
- Facilities: Saw if people mentioned anything good/bad about clubhouse or pro shop.
Making the Decision
After spending maybe an hour or so reading through everything, I felt pretty good. The reviews were mostly positive, with people praising the course conditions, the friendly staff, and the overall value. A few mentioned it could get busy, but that’s pretty standard. I decided to give it a go! So, I decided to book a Tee time and played a game to find out for myself.
