Okay, so today I decided to mess around with creating a custom character, and I picked the name “Sierra Townsend” pretty much at random. It sounded cool, so I went with it.
First, I opened up my character creation software. You know, the usual one everybody uses. I clicked on “New Character” and typed in “Sierra Townsend” in the name field.
Appearance
Next, I had to figure out what Sierra would look like. I spent a good chunk of time just cycling through hairstyles. Long, short, curly, straight… so many choices! I finally settled on a shoulder-length, wavy style with some highlights. Seemed fitting for a “Sierra.”
Then came the eyes. I played around with different colors – blue, green, brown. I even tried one of those heterochromia options (one blue, one green), but it looked a little too…extra. I ended up going with plain brown eyes. Classic, you know?

For the outfit, I didn’t want anything too flashy. I picked out some simple jeans, a t-shirt, and a jacket. I mean, I can always change it later, right? That’s the beauty of these things.
Backstory
This is where it got a bit tricky. I needed a backstory for Sierra. I thought, “Okay, who is she? What’s her deal?”
I started jotting down some random ideas. Maybe she’s a college student? Or a struggling artist? A secret agent? (Okay, maybe not that last one.)
I finally decided to make her a young photographer trying to make it big in the city. It seemed like a decent starting point, and I could always flesh it out more later.

Final Touches
I looked over everything one last time. Name: Sierra Townsend. Appearance: check. Backstory: check. I hit the “Save” button and, boom, there she was. My very own custom character.
It wasn’t anything super complicated, but it was fun to go through the process and see it all come together. Now I just need to figure out what to do with her. Maybe I will do it tomorrow, I’m tired now.
