Okay, so I’ve been wanting a new Lakers t-shirt for a while now. My old one is, well, let’s just say it’s seen better days. It’s got holes, the colors are faded… it’s basically a rag at this point.
The Search Begins
First, I started by just browsing around. I didn’t have anything specific in mind, just wanted to see what was out there. I looked at a few different stores, you know, the usual places. I saw some pretty basic designs, the team logo, player names, that kind of stuff. Nothing really grabbed me, though.
Getting Specific
Then I decided to get a little more specific. I thought, “What kind of Lakers shirt do I really want?” I’m a big LeBron fan, so maybe something with his name and number? Or maybe something a little more vintage, like a throwback to the Showtime era?
I started searching with the thought.
The Options
- Basic Logo Tees: These were everywhere. Just the Lakers logo, usually in purple and gold. Simple, classic, but a little boring.
- Player Tees: Lots of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and even some of the newer guys. These were okay, but I wanted something a little different.
- Vintage/Throwback: These were my favorite. I found some cool designs featuring Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and the old-school Lakers logo.
The Choice
I’m still not buy anyone, but I plan to buy anyone tomorrow.
