Sentry Golf TV Coverage: Where to Watch and What to Expect This Year?

Okay, here we go, let me tell you about how I figured out the TV coverage for the Sentry golf tournament.

Sentry Golf TV Coverage: Where to Watch and What to Expect This Year?

So, I’m a huge golf fan, and The Sentry is one of those tournaments I just can’t miss. I gotta see all the action, you know? This year, figuring out the TV schedule took a bit of digging, but I got it all sorted out. Let me walk you through what I did.

First thing, I started hitting up the usual spots – NBC and Golf Channel. They always show a bunch of golf, so I figured they’d be involved. And yeah, turns out they’re the main ones airing the final rounds. I found out they’re gonna be broadcasting from 6 to 10 p.m. Eastern Time on Saturday. Nice! But it’s split between two channels: NBC covers it from 4 to 6 p.m. ET, and then Golf Channel takes over from 6 to 8 p.m. ET. Gotta remember to switch channels!

Then I thought, “What about streaming?” These days, everyone’s streaming, right? I found out that PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ is the place to go for featured group coverage. I don’t have cable, so this is perfect for me. But the thing is, it seems you need a cable subscription to get it. Bummer. I guess you can’t have everything, right?

Next, I saw something about Callaway. Apparently, they’re doing uninterrupted coverage for the final hour on Golf Channel. That’s pretty cool, no commercials for a whole hour! I love when they do that, it lets you focus on the game without being distracted.

Then I got curious about the earlier rounds. I learned that Golf Channel will have live coverage Thursday and Friday, also from 6 to 10 p.m. Eastern. And for the weekend rounds, they also have some coverage. Sweet! That’s a lot of golf to watch. I also saw something about fubo, but that’s a paid thing, and you can try it for free. Also Peacock has some coverage.

Oh, and one more thing I found – they mentioned the world’s No. 1, Scottie Scheffler, is playing. That’s awesome! He’s a must-watch player, no doubt.

So, here’s how I put it all together in my head:

  • Final Round TV: NBC and Golf Channel, Saturday 6-10 p.m. ET (split).
  • Earlier Rounds TV: Golf Channel, Thursday & Friday 6-10 p.m. ET.
  • Streaming: PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ (but you need cable, it seems).
  • Special: Callaway‘s uninterrupted hour on Golf Channel for the final hour.
  • Other streaming options include fubo and Peacock.

And that’s how I cracked the code for watching The Sentry! It took a little bit of effort, but now I’m all set to enjoy the tournament. Hope this helps some of you other golf nuts out there!
