Okay, so yesterday I scored this super cute McDonald’s Hello Kitty bucket, and let me tell you, it was a whole thing. I’m gonna walk you through the entire saga.
The Mission Begins
First off, I saw pictures of this bucket online, and I knew I had to have it. It’s Hello Kitty, people! And it’s a bucket. I mean, come on!
So, I checked the McDonald’s app – nothing. I even googled “McDonald’s Hello Kitty bucket release date” like a crazy person. Still nothing specific, just rumors and whispers on social media.
The Hunt
I decided to take matters into my own hands. I drove to my local McDonald’s. I walked in, all casual-like, and asked the cashier, “Hey, do you guys have that Hello Kitty bucket?”
She looked at me, like have three heads. “The…what?” she asked.
I pulled up a picture on my phone. “This! It’s supposed to be a new Happy Meal thing, maybe?”
She shook her head. “Nope, haven’t seen it.”
Defeated? Not me! I drove to another McDonald’s. This time, I went straight to the drive-thru, figuring I’d have better luck. I asked the person taking my order the same question.
- Me: “Do you have the Hello Kitty bucket?”
- Drive-thru person: “Hold on… muffled sounds …Uh, yeah, we do!”
I screamed (internally, of course). “I’ll take one!” I yelled, probably a little too enthusiastically.
Victory!
I paid, got my bucket, And Drove home.
It’s even cuter in person! It’s pink, it’s got Hello Kitty all over it, and it’s the perfect size for… well, I don’t know what yet, but it’s perfect.
So, yeah, that’s my Hello Kitty bucket adventure. It took some effort, a few awkward conversations, and a couple of trips, but I got it! Totally worth it. If you’re a Hello Kitty fan, you gotta try to get your hands on one of these!
