Okay, so I wanted to book a tee time at River Run, and let me tell you, it wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it would be. This is what happened.

My Quest for a Tee Time
First, I headed straight to their website, figuring that’d be the easiest way. I poked around a bit, you know, clicked on “Book a Tee Time,” expecting a nice, clean calendar to pop up.
Nope!
I found some general information, but it was kind of a mess. I was digging through everything trying to find a simple way to book.
So, after a little bit of frustration, I decided to just give them a call. Figured speaking to a real person would be faster.
- I dialed the number I found on the site.
- The phone rang a few times.
- Finally, someone picked up!
I explained I wanted to book a tee time, and the person on the other end was super helpful. They asked me what day and time I was looking for, and if I had any preferred courses (apparently, there are options!).

We went back and forth a little bit, checking availability. Turns out, the time I originally wanted was already booked solid. Bummer!
But, we found another slot that worked, just a little later in the day. I gave them my name and details, and boom, tee time secured!
So, lesson learned: Sometimes, the old-fashioned way (picking up the phone) is still the best way, especially when you’re dealing with tee times! Don’t waste too much time messing around online, especially when the phone gets you faster access, I booked by calling, easy!
