So, I’ve been wanting to catch a Mariners game for a while now. I mean, who doesn’t love a good baseball game, right? Finally decided to just go for it and figure out how to get some tickets.

First thing I did was jump online to see what my options were. There are tons of websites selling tickets, so it was a little overwhelming at first. I checked out the official MLB Ballpark app because it seemed like the most legit place to start. You can buy tickets directly through the app, which is pretty convenient. It also gives you info about the stadium and stuff, like where to find food and drinks.
Checking Out Other Ticket Sites
But, you know, I’m always looking for a deal, so I also looked at some other sites like SeatGeek and TickPick. They let you filter by price and location, which was helpful. I noticed that weekday games are generally cheaper, which makes sense. Apparently, you can save like 20% on average if you buy through some of these resellers, so that’s something to keep in mind.
TickPick mentioned that they have no hidden fees, which I appreciate. Nobody likes those sneaky extra charges. I spent some time comparing prices on different sites to see where I could get the best bang for my buck. It seems it really depends on the seat location and the popularity of the match you are going to watch.
Other Tips
- Go Cashless: I found out that T-Mobile Park is cashless, so you gotta use cards or your phone to pay for everything inside. I guess that’s pretty standard these days.
- Box Office Option: If you’re old-school like me and prefer buying tickets in person, the box office at the stadium is open on game days, a couple of hours before the game starts. But honestly, buying online is way easier.
- Transportation: Everyone says to take the light rail or public transportation to the stadium. Parking can be a nightmare, so I’ll definitely be doing that.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure in trying to score some Mariners tickets. It took a bit of research, but I think I’ve got a pretty good handle on it now. Now I just gotta pick a game and go for it! Hopefully, the Mariners will pull off a win when I’m there!
