Today, I decided to play geek. I have always been interested in a lot of things, but I haven’t really explored them in depth, so I decided to do something different today.

First, I picked a topic that I found interesting, which is 3D modeling. It’s cool to see those models in games or movies, so I wanted to try it by myself.
Then, I looked up some easy-to-use tools for beginners, and found a software called “Blender”. It’s free, so that’s a good point to start.
After that, I downloaded and installed it. It took a while, but I was playing a phone game while waiting. No big deal.
Once it was installed, I opened it up and was like, “Whoa, what are all these buttons?” But hey, I didn’t give up there.
I searched for some tutorials for beginners. There are many videos, so I just randomly picked one that’s not too long, and it showed the very basics, like how to move around and make simple shapes, I spent about an hour on it.

I followed along, and you know what? I actually made a simple cube and a sphere! Not gonna lie, it felt pretty awesome.
After playing around a bit more, I tried to make something a little more complex, like a very simple, low-poly tree. It wasn’t perfect, but it was my own creation. Felt great.
Here’s what I did step by step:
- Picked a topic: 3D modeling.
- Found a free tool: Blender.
- Downloaded and installed it.
- Watched a beginner tutorial.
- Followed the tutorial and made basic shapes.
- Tried to make a simple tree model.
All in all, it was a fun day. I learned something new, and it was pretty rewarding to see something I made come to life, even if it was just a simple model. Maybe I’ll try to learn more about it later, who knows?
