Okay, so today I decided to check out this “Patrick Miller basketball” thing. I’d heard the name, but I wasn’t really sure what all the fuss was about. I figured, why not, let’s dive in.

Finding Some Info
First, I just Googled the name. You know, the usual. Typed it in, hit enter, and boom, a bunch of stuff popped up. Mostly videos, some articles, and stuff about training programs. It seemed like this guy was pretty well-known, at least in the basketball world.
Watching the Videos
I clicked on a few of the YouTube videos. Wow, this dude can move. I mean, I played a little ball in high school, but this was a whole different level. His drills looked intense. Lots of quick footwork, ball-handling, and shooting practice. I was already starting to sweat just watching him!
- Fast dribbling Drills.
- Many footwork exrecise.
- Shooting practice from different area.
Trying It Out (Sort Of)
Inspired (and maybe a little intimidated), I decided to try some of the simpler drills myself. I don’t have a fancy court or anything, just my driveway and an old hoop. I grabbed my basketball, which, let’s be honest, hasn’t seen much action lately, and headed outside.
I started with some basic dribbling. Nothing crazy, just trying to get a feel for the ball again. Then I tried some of the footwork stuff, like crossovers and between-the-legs moves. Let’s just say I wasn’t exactly Patrick Miller. More like Patrick “Stumbles-a-Lot” Miller. I nearly tripped over my own feet a few times, and my neighbors probably got a good laugh.
Shooting Practice
After almost twisting my ankle a couple of times, I figured I’d stick to shooting. I mean, how hard could that be, right? Well, harder than it looks, apparently. My shots were all over the place. Bricks, airballs, you name it. I definitely need some work on my form. I did my warm up with some simply shooting form practice.

I shoot about 50 balls from different place.
The Verdict
Okay, so I’m not going to be joining the NBA anytime soon. But it was actually kind of fun trying out some of these drills. It reminded me how much I used to enjoy playing basketball, even if I wasn’t very good. Maybe I’ll keep practicing, just for the fun of it. And hey, who knows, maybe I’ll even get a little better. At the very least, I got some exercise and a few good laughs.
This Patrick Miller stuff? It’s legit. But man, is it tough. I have a new respect for those pro players, I’ll tell you that.
