Okay, so I tried out this thing called “Plateball” today. Never heard of it before, but my buddy was like, “Dude, you gotta try this!” So, I was like, “Alright, let’s do it.”

First off, finding the actual rules was a bit of a mess. We googled it, found some stuff, but it was all kinda vague. It’s like, everyone has their own version. But, we cobbled together something that seemed to make sense.
Setting Up
- We used a regular folding table, the kind you’d have at a picnic or something.
 - Then we grabbed some solo cups – you know, the red plastic ones. We set up six on each side, like a triangle, kinda like bowling pins.
 - Instead of water(some folks onine use that way),we filled them with a little bit of * to make stable.
 - We marked a line on the floor with some tape, about 8 feet away from the table. That was our throwing line.

The Game
We took two teams,I was solo, and others are a * turns to throw.
Basically, we took turns throwing a ping pong ball at the cups on the other side of the table. Simple, right? But here’s the catch:
- Bounces are key: You HAVE to bounce the ball off the table. It can’t go straight into a cup.
 - One bounce only, usually: We decided on one bounce, but some people online play with two. We stuck with one ’cause it seemed more challenging.
 - Knock ’em down: If you bounce the ball and it knocks over a cup, that cup is out.
 - Reracks: When you get down to a certain number of cups (we did 3 and 1), you get to “rerack” them – basically, rearrange them into a tighter formation.
 - Winning: First team to knock over all the other team’s cups wins.

My First Game
Throwing ping pong ball to hit the cups is * first,I cannot hit any one,but after several times,I master some skill on it.

My first few throws were… terrible. Like, not even close. The ball kept bouncing way too far, or not far enough. It took a while to get the hang of the bounce, the angle, and how hard to throw.
But, after a few rounds, I started to get a feel for it. I even managed to knock over a couple of cups! It’s surprisingly tricky, but also really satisfying when you get it right.
I * skill is too * good news is I found a new way to get relaxed.
I can see why people get into this. It’s simple, but there’s a lot of skill involved. And, it’s a good excuse to hang out with friends and have some laughs.
