Okay, so I saw this “Disney Dreamlight Valley Spring Taste Test” thing popping up and figured, why not? I’m always up for a little in-game cooking challenge. Here’s how it went down for me:

First thing I did was check out the duty details. Needed to whip up some Spring-themed dishes, specifically focusing on eggs. Sounded easy enough, right? I already had a bunch of ingredients stocked up from just playing the game normally.
Gathering My Goods
I started by running around my valley, collecting stuff. Here’s what I went for:
- Eggs: These were obviously key. I already had a good stash from Remy’s restaurant, so I was set there.
- Spring V-EGG-etable: I’d been growing these colorful eggs for a bit, so that was covered.
- Wild Spring Eggs:I found a few of these laying around, also.
- Cocoa Beans: Needed for a dessert, naturally. Plenty of those in the Glade of Trust.
- Sugarcane: I always keep a good supply of this growing. It’s useful and easy to obtain.
- Basil/Oregano:Got a bunch, the usual spices to give everything a little kick.
Cooking Time!
With all my ingredients ready, I headed to the nearest cooking station. The recipes were pretty straightforward, thanks to the game’s helpful hints:
- Spring Chocolate:Basically the Spring eggs + cocoa. Super easy.
- Spring Mimosa Eggs:This one used basil and the v-egg-etable. Straightforward.
- Spring Egg Bowl:A mix of all the different egg types and sugarcane.
I threw everything together, one dish at a time. The cooking animation is always fun to watch. And bam, three dishes done!
The Taste Test (Sort Of)
I didn’t actually taste anything, obviously, but I made sure to “gift” one of each dish to some of my valley residents. Mickey seemed pretty happy with his Spring Egg Bowl, so I’m calling it a win. It’s more about the fun of making the dishes and completing the duty, anyway.

Wrapping Up
Honestly, the whole thing took maybe 20 minutes? It was a nice little break from the usual quests and a good way to use up some of my stored ingredients. If you’re playing Dreamlight Valley, I’d say give it a shot. It’s a chill little activity, and who doesn’t love making some virtual food?
