So, I’ve been diving deep into the whole golf scene lately, and let me tell you, it’s a wild ride. Today’s adventure? Trying to figure out the leaderboard for the Myrtle Beach Classic qualifier. Yeah, that’s a mouthful, but stick with me.

First off, I fired up my trusty laptop, ready to conquer the internet. My mission: find out who’s crushing it in this qualifier. I started poking around the Carolinas PGA website ’cause, you know, that’s where the action is.
Turns out, this thing’s called the Myrtle Beach Classic Monday Qualifier, or Myrtle Beach Classic Monday Q for short. I dug through their site, looking for anything with “leaderboard” or “results” plastered on it. May 6th was the date, that I’m sure of.
- I learned that some guy named Brandon Berry apparently destroyed the competition at TPC Myrtle Beach. 9-under 63? Seriously? That’s some insane golfing right there. Mad respect.
- Then there’s this Tyler Watts dude who scored a 1-under 71, landing him in third place. Not too shabby, Tyler, not too shabby.
I bounced over to the ESPN website. You’d think they’d have the scores, right? Well, they did have some stuff, but it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. Real-time scoring, player scorecards… yeah, yeah, but where’s the qualifier info?
Then, like a bolt from the blue, I stumbled upon this video – Xander and BDS, what’s that about? They were chatting about a guy named Matt Atkins who qualified for another tournament earlier this year. Maybe he’s playing here too? The plot thickens.
And then there was the mention of a George Bryan, “the logical answer” it said, who knows what that means? Gotta “doctor the footage” it said? I scrolled down some more. “Flashscore” something-or-other popped up. Live scores, leaderboards, results… maybe that’s the golden ticket?
Honestly, it was a bit of a mess. Bits and pieces of info scattered all over the place. I managed to piece together a rough idea of who was doing well, but a nice, clean leaderboard? Still on the wish list, I guess. I spent a good chunk of my day on this, and I’m still not 100% sure who all made the cut. But hey, that’s the internet for you, right? A wild goose chase, but a fun one nonetheless.
I’m going to keep digging, though. Maybe tomorrow I’ll crack the code and finally find that definitive leaderboard. Or maybe I’ll just go play some mini-golf instead. We’ll see.
