Okay, so I got curious the other day about that final Chicago Bulls championship team. You know, the one from the documentary series everyone was watching a while back. The 1998 squad. I couldn’t quite place everyone who was on the roster besides the big obvious names.

So, I did what anyone does. I grabbed my phone, opened up a browser. Typed in something real simple, like “bulls 1998 roster” or “chicago bulls 1998 players”. Hit search.
Right away, lists started popping up. Took me a second to filter through the noise, but pretty quickly I landed on the core group.
The Main Guys I Remembered
Of course, the names jumped out immediately:
- Michael Jordan – Duh. No surprise there. The main man.
- Scottie Pippen – MJ’s right hand. Couldn’t win without him.
- Dennis Rodman – The rebound machine and wild card. Always entertaining.
Then I saw the other key guys that really rounded out that team:
- Ron Harper – Solid guard, played tough defense.
- Toni Kukoc – The Croatian guy, smooth scorer off the bench.
- Steve Kerr – Mr. Clutch shot himself. Now a famous coach.
- Luc Longley – The big Aussie center holding down the paint.
Seeing that list really brought it back. That was truly the ‘Last Dance’ lineup. It was kind of wild remembering that just after they won that title, the whole thing got blown up. The management decided they were too old, I guess. They traded Pippen, Rodman left, Phil Jackson the coach left, and Jordan retired again. Boom. Dynasty over.
It’s funny how looking up a simple roster list can bring back all those memories of watching them play. That 1998 team, definitely the end of a crazy era for basketball. Quite a team they had, even if it was their last run together.
