Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “gojo hand sign” thing all over the internet, and, well, I got curious. I’m not a huge anime person, but the hand gesture looked kinda cool, so I figured, why not try learning it?

My Gojo Hand Sign Journey
First things first, I needed to figure out what this hand sign even was. So, I did what anyone else would do – I Googled it. Turns out, it’s from this show called Jujutsu Kaisen, and this Gojo character is, like, super powerful.
I found some images and videos online. Seemed simple enough, right? Famous last words.
I started by just trying to copy the pictures. You know, the one where he’s got his fingers crossed, but not in the regular way? My fingers felt like they were tied in knots! It’s like my pinky and ring finger just refused to cooperate.
- Step 1: The Basic Cross. I got the index and middle finger cross down pretty easily. That part was a no-brainer.
- Step 2: The Thumb Struggle. Getting the thumb tucked under those crossed fingers? Harder than it looks. I kept accidentally bending my other fingers, and it just looked…wrong.
- Step 3: The Pinky and Ring Finger Fiasco. Okay, this is where things got real interesting. Trying to get those two fingers to bend down neatly while the others were crossed? My hands were cramping, I’m not gonna lie.
I kept practicing in front of a mirror. I watched a few more videos, slowing them down to really see how the fingers were supposed to move. I tried to strech my hand fingers before.
After, like, a solid hour of fumbling around, I finally got something that kinda resembled the Gojo hand sign. It wasn’t perfect, but it was close enough! My fingers were definitely sore, though. I guess I have finger muscles I never knew existed.

It’s funny how something that looks so simple can be so tricky to actually do. But hey, I learned something new, and now I can (sort of) do the Gojo hand sign.
