Okay, so I stumbled upon this “Ignacio Palau” thing today, and let me tell you, it turned into a whole afternoon project. I had NO idea what it was, just saw the name and thought, “Huh, sounds interesting.”

First, I googled it. You know, the usual – just typed in the name and hit enter. I got a bunch of stuff, some art, some other random things. it appeared to relate to a sculptor, so I narrowed down my search.
Digging Deeper
Then I tried to get a clearer understanding by searching specifically for artwork attributed to the artist.
- I scrolled through a ton of images.
- I opened like a million tabs. Seriously, my browser was crying.
- I started to see some common themes, some repeating patterns.
I started to use google lens with some photos i found on my initial search, to find out their names.
Putting the Pieces Together
I copied the information and saved those links to have them on hand.
I even downloaded some of the images. Just for, you know, research. (And maybe to use as my desktop background later. Don’t judge.)

So yeah, that’s how I spent my afternoon. From knowing absolutely nothing about “Ignacio Palau” to having a whole folder full of images and notes. It’s amazing what you can learn when you’re just curious and have some time to kill.
