Okay, so I’ve been messing around with the Jets’ “Color Rush” uniforms, and I wanted to share my little project with you all. It’s nothing super fancy, but I had fun doing it, and maybe it’ll give you some ideas.
Getting Started
First, I grabbed some pictures of the Jets’ regular uniforms and their Color Rush ones. Just regular images I could find, nothing special. I wanted to see them side-by-side to really get a feel for the differences.
Breaking it Down
Then, I started looking closely at the colors. The Color Rush is all about that bright, solid green, right? So I focused on that. I used a simple color picker tool, like a website or something easy like that. Then I picked out the main green from the Color Rush jersey.
Playing Around
- I opened up an image editor. You can do this with any program that lets you mess with colors.
- I took that green color I picked and started messing around, I want to apply this color in some objects.
- I tried different shades, making it lighter or darker, just to see what looked good.
The Result
It’s not perfect, obviously. I’m no graphic designer. But it was cool to see how that one solid color could change the whole look. It made me appreciate the design of the Color Rush uniforms even more. That bold green really pops!
Like I said, it was a small, simple thing, but I enjoyed the process. It’s fun to play around with colors and see what you can come up with. Maybe this gives you some inspiration to try your own little design project!
