Okay, here is the blog post sharing my experience of watching the Japan U19 vs. Indonesia U20 match:

So, I watched this football match between Japan U19 and Indonesia U20 the other day. It was on June 8th, 2024. To be honest, I didn’t even know it was happening until a friend told me about it. He said it was part of some tournament called the “Tournoi Maurice Revello” or something like that, sounds fancy.
I started searching for some info on it online. You know, just to get a feel for the teams and stuff. What I found was pretty much what I expected. Japan was the clear favorite. One website said that in their last five matches, Indonesia U20 lost four times! And they only scored an average of 0.8 points per game, while their opponents scored 1.4. Not great, right?
I managed to find a website and watched the live stream of the game. I’m not gonna lie, it wasn’t the most exciting match I’ve ever seen, but I was curious to see how it would play out. They were supposed to begin at 12:00 UTC time, but I tuned in a few minutes late. No big deal, I didn’t miss much at the beginning.
Here’s how the match went down:
- Japan started strong. It was clear they were the better team. They had most of the possession and were creating a lot of chances.
- Indonesia was trying their best, but they just couldn’t keep up with Japan’s pace and skill. They were mostly defending and trying to hit Japan on the counter-attack.
- Japan scored the first goal, and then the second. It’s pretty obvious they were dominating.
- Indonesia managed to pull one back. For a moment, I thought they might make a comeback.
- But, nope. Japan scored two more goals. The final score was 4-1 to Japan.
My Thoughts
Honestly, the result was never really in doubt. Japan U19 was just too good for Indonesia U20. It was a bit of a mismatch, to be frank. But hey, that’s football, right? You never know what’s going to happen, and it’s always fun to watch.

Anyway, that’s my little recap of the Japan U19 vs. Indonesia U20 match. Hope you enjoyed it!
