Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “Jan Finney” thing today, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a rollercoaster. I’m not a tech wizard or anything, but I like to tinker, and this seemed like a fun little project to try out.

Getting Started
First things first, I had to figure out what Jan Finney even was. After a bit of searching, I found it was related to some AI model stuff. Honestly, most of it went over my head, but I managed to find some basic instructions.
- Downloaded the necessary files. This took a while because my internet is kinda slow.
- Tried to install everything. This is where things got tricky. I kept getting error messages.
The Struggle is Real
I spent a good hour just trying to get the darn thing to work. I followed the instructions, but something was clearly off. I googled the error messages, read some forum posts, and tried a bunch of different things. It was frustrating, to say the least. I almost gave up a couple of times.
Finally, a Breakthrough!
But then, I stumbled upon a comment in a forum that suggested I try a different version of something. I downloaded that, ran the installer again, and… boom! It worked! I have no idea why that worked, but I wasn’t about to question it.
Playing Around
With Jan Finney finally up and running, I started experimenting. I typed in some prompts, and the models did its own thing. It was pretty basic at the beginning, but the simple interaction that I can get response from it was quite satisfying.

So yeah, that was my day with Jan Finney. A bit of a headache to set up, but ultimately pretty rewarding. I’m still figuring out all the ins and outs, but it’s been a fun learning experience so far.
