Alright, guys, so today I wanted to talk about something that’s been on my mind lately – the whole Inter Miami transfer situation. You know, with Messi and all the buzz around him.
So, first off, I started digging into this whole thing when the news broke that Messi was leaving Paris St Germain. I mean, that was huge, right? But, I realized, like everyone else, that the transfer window in the US was already closed at that time. So, I thought to myself, “Okay, no Miami move for Messi in 2023, what’s next?”
Then, I saw this article about Neymar talking about maybe playing with Messi again. That got me thinking even more. And I’m reading all these reports about Luis Suarez signing a new deal, and that Messi was staying put for at least one more season. So, I’m following all this, trying to piece it all together like a puzzle.
- Messi leaving PSG: This was the starting point. Huge news, but the timing was off for an immediate Inter Miami move.
- Neymar’s comments: This added fuel to the fire. The possibility of them playing together again was exciting.

Then just today, I saw that Inter Miami signed this player, Fafa Picault, who’s apparently a pretty big deal in the MLS. He’s a free agent winger/forward, and they signed him through the 2025 season. So, they’re definitely building something over there.
