Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “Beyer figures” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I wanted to create something, you know, visually interesting. Started with absolutely zero clue, just a vague idea and a whole lot of curiosity.

First, I googled “Beyer figures”. Bunch of stuff popped up, all kinda confusing at first. I saw those weird, abstract shapes and thought, “How the heck do people make these?”
I tried to find a good starting point. I found several tools to create them, but it took some time to get used to.
Trial and Error
- First try: Complete mess. Lines everywhere, no symmetry, looked like a toddler’s drawing.
- Second try: Slightly better. I figured out how to, uh, “control” the lines a bit more. Still looked wonky, though.
- Third try: Started to get the hang of it. Found some parameters of the tool, that makes it more symmetrical.
- Many more tries: Finally started to look like something! Realized I needed to adjust the parameters to get a better result.
I spent like 2 hours and I am still not able to control it to create a pattern that I would like to create. I need to play a little bit more with parameters.
The key, I realized, is patience. And a lot of experimenting. So, yeah, that’s my Beyer figures adventure so far. Still learning, still creating, still having fun (most of the time!).
