So, I’ve been messing around with this beast, the Harley Low Rider ST, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. Literally.

First off, I got my hands on this 2024 model. It’s a cruiser, and when I say it’s got power, I mean it. We’re talking about a 1923cc engine, air and oil-cooled, V-twin, the whole shebang.
I started by just getting a feel for it. The riding position is upright, which is pretty comfy. It’s got these mid-mount foot controls, and saddlebags, which are super handy. And there’s this frame-mounted fairing that gives it a distinct look.
- Riding Position: Upright and comfy, like you’re ready for anything.
- Controls: Mid-mount foot controls, pretty standard but effective.
- Fairing: Frame-mounted, gives it that cool, tough look.
- Saddlebags: Super useful for carrying stuff, road trip ready.
Then, I took it out on the road. This thing moves. It’s got this “Sport Touring” vibe, and it lives up to the name. I was cruising, and it felt smooth, powerful. The fairings, which are minimal by the way, they give it this mean look, like it’s ready to eat up the miles.
I also noticed it doesn’t have all that techy stuff. No satellite navigation, no phone connectivity. At first, I thought it was a bummer, but then I realized, it’s kind of liberating. Just you, the bike, and the road. It’s all about the ride, no distractions.
Safety Stuff
Harley also threw in this safety package. ABS and Traction Control, you know, just in case things get a little too wild. It’s good to know it’s there, gives you a bit more confidence when you’re pushing it.

So, after spending some time with the Low Rider ST, I’ve got to say, it’s a solid machine. It balances that need for speed with the comfort you want on longer rides. It’s a well-rounded bike that’s fun as hell to ride.
In the end, I guess what I am trying to say is the Low Rider ST, it is not just a bike. It is an experience of riding. It’s got the power, the look, and the feel. If you are into that raw, no-frills riding, this might just be your next ride.
