Okay, so I wanted to check out this “Pittsburgh Pass” thing I’d been hearing about. It’s supposed to get you into a bunch of attractions around the city for one price, which sounded pretty good, especially since I was planning on hitting a few spots anyway.

Getting Started
First, I went to their website to see what the deal was. I looked through the different options – they have like, a one-day pass, a two-day, and so on. I figured I’d be in town for a couple of days, so the two-day pass seemed like the best bet.
Making the Purchase
I clicked on the two-day pass, and it took me to a page where I could put in my info and pay. It was pretty straightforward – name, email, credit card stuff, the usual. I double-checked everything and hit the “buy” button.
Confirmation and Usage
Right after that, I got an email confirmation with a barcode. It said I could either print it out or just show the barcode on my phone at the attractions. I’m all about saving paper, so I decided to just use my phone.
Hitting the Attractions
- First Stop: I went over to the Science Center, and the line was long.
- I walked up to the ticket counter and showed the barcode on my * person scanned my barcode.
- Next Up: After the Science Center, I headed to the Andy Warhol Museum. Same deal – showed my phone, got scanned, walked right in.
Final Thoughts
Honestly, it was super easy. No fumbling for cash or tickets at each place. I just flashed my phone and was good to go. For me, it saved some time and probably some money, too, since I hit up a few different spots. If you’re planning on doing a bunch of sightseeing in Pittsburgh, I’d say it’s worth looking into.
