Get to Know 3 Hearts and 3 Lions: Simple Explanation.

Okay, so I saw this “3 hearts and 3 lions” thing pop up, and I was like, “What the heck is that?” I’m always up for a little creative challenge, so I decided to give it a shot. My first thought? Gotta be something visual, right?

Get to Know 3 Hearts and 3 Lions: Simple Explanation.

Doodling and Brainstorming

I grabbed my trusty notebook and started sketching. I mean, really basic stuff. Three hearts – easy peasy. Then came the lions. I’m no artist, let me tell you. My first few attempts looked more like grumpy cats, but I pressed on. I tried different poses, you know, roaring, sitting, sleeping… it was a whole lion drawing adventure.

Digital Attempts

After filling a few pages with my, um, “unique” drawings, I thought, “Maybe I should try this digitally?” I’m a bit of a newbie with digital art, but I have this basic drawing app on my tablet. So, I fired it up and started messing around.

Drawing with my finger on a screen is way harder than it looks. My lines were all wobbly, and the colors kept bleeding into each other. It was a mess. I tried using the symmetry tool for the hearts – that helped a bit. But the lions? Oh boy. Digital lions were even harder than paper lions.

Playing with Styles

I spent a good hour just playing with different styles. Cartoon-y hearts? Realistic-ish lions? I even tried some abstract stuff, just throwing shapes and colors together. It was kinda fun, just experimenting with different looks, even if most of it ended up looking pretty… well, let’s just say “interesting.”

Giving Up (Temporarily!)

Honestly, after a while, I hit a wall. I had all these messy drawings, and nothing felt quite “right.” I decided to take a break, grab a coffee, and clear my head. Sometimes you just gotta step away from the screen, right?

Refining the Ideas

After my break, I came back with a fresh perspective. I looked at my sketches and digital doodles, and started to pick out the elements I liked. I liked the simplicity of the cartoon hearts, and I found one lion pose that was almost decent. So, I decided to focus on those. I started a new file on the app and tried to combine my best attempts. More basic shapes to form the lions. Then added 3 hearts to see how it looked with the lions, and continued until I reached something.

The Final Result

It’s still not perfect, not by a long shot. But it’s… something. It’s three hearts and three lions, drawn in my own clumsy, slightly wonky style. And you know what? I’m actually kinda proud of it. It’s a reminder that even if you’re not an artist, it’s fun to just create something, even if it’s just a little doodle. So there you have it – my “3 hearts and 3 lions” journey. It was messy, it was frustrating, but it was also surprisingly enjoyable.
