Okay, so I wanted to put together my thoughts on the Royal Rumble 2025. It’s always a fun time trying to guess what WWE’s gonna pull off.

Getting Started: The Basics
First thing I did was just try and nail down the confirmed stuff. You know, the where and when. I poked around online, looked at WWE’s official site first, because sometimes they announce the date and city way early. Sometimes news sites pick it up faster, so I checked a couple of reliable wrestling news spots too. Gotta sift through the rumors, though. For 2025, I just needed the date and the location to get the ball rolling.
Brainstorming the Big Picture
Once I had the basics, I started thinking about the matches themselves. This is where it gets messy and fun. I basically just dumped all my thoughts out. Who’s feuding right now? Who seems like they’re getting a push? Are there any big injuries that might affect things, or big returns people are hoping for? NXT call-ups are always a factor around Rumble time too. I just let my mind wander through the current roster and storylines.
The Royal Rumble Matches: Men’s and Women’s
Naturally, the main focus had to be the two Rumble matches. This took the most time.
- Who’s In?: I started listing definite entries, like champions who probably won’t be in it, and then likely contenders. You look at guys and girls getting TV time, people who need a big moment.
- Potential Winners: This is the big prediction. Who needs the win? Who makes sense storyline-wise to challenge for a title at WrestleMania? I considered a few main options for both the men’s and women’s matches. You gotta think about who’s hot, who the crowd loves, and who WWE seems to be building up.
- Surprises!: Can’t forget the surprise entrants. Legends, returning stars, maybe a celebrity? I threw in a few wild guesses just for fun, based on whispers or just pure fantasy booking.
Predicting the Championship Bouts
Okay, besides the Rumbles, what titles will be on the line? I looked at the current major champions:
Undisputed WWE Champion: Who’s holding the belt now, and who’s been circling them? Is there an obvious challenger emerging on SmackDown? Or will the Rumble winner maybe come from the other brand?

World Heavyweight Champion: Same process for the Raw title. Who’s the champ, who are their main rivals? Is there a clear #1 contender building?
Women’s Championships: Repeated the same thought process for both the WWE Women’s Championship and the Women’s World Championship. Look at current reigns, ongoing feuds, and potential challengers coming out of recent shows.
Filling Out the Card
A PPV isn’t just the main events. So, I thought about other possible matches.
- Mid-Card Titles: What about the Intercontinental and United States Championships? Usually, these get defended. I looked at the current champs and who they might face off against. Maybe someone from a recent rivalry.
- Tag Team Titles: Gotta consider the tag divisions too, both men’s and women’s. Are there strong challenging teams lined up?
- Non-Title Feuds: Sometimes big personal rivalries get a match on the card. I scanned the roster for any heated feuds that might deserve a PPV spot to blow off some steam or escalate things.
Putting It All Together
Finally, I took all these scattered thoughts and predictions and tried to organize them into a realistic-looking match card. Just listed them out, match by match. I looked it over, maybe tweaked one or two things if something felt off or if I had a sudden thought. It’s all guesswork, really. WWE loves to swerve us. But it’s fun to try and piece together the puzzle based on what we’re seeing each week. That’s pretty much my whole process for getting these predictions down.
