Okay, so I’ve been grinding Fortnite lately, specifically hunting down those weapon cases. Let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I wanted to get all of those cases, so I started searching for information and, let me tell you, putting it all together was a bit of a mess, so I thought I am going to go through the whole process.

I started by diving into a bunch of online guides and videos. My god, there’s a lot of info out there, some good, some… not so much. The first thing I did was make a list of all the named locations on the map.
I went to the obvious spots first, like, you know, the big named locations. Places such as Pleasant Park, Slumberyard, and Shattered Slabs, figuring they’d be loaded, right? Hit and miss. Sometimes I’d find a few cases, other times, total bust.
I quickly realized that just hitting the named spots wasn’t enough. I needed to get more specific. I started taking notes, like a crazy person, marking down exactly where I found cases within each location.
My Process of Location Hunting
- I started to watch a lot of live streams to see where the cases were.
- Then I tried to put together everything and I got some pretty good information.
- Next I jumped into matches, gun in hand, and went straight for those spots.
- I checked around buildings. A lot of times, they’re tucked away inside, on the ground floor, or sometimes on upper levels.
- I also started looking in less obvious places, like behind rocks, under bridges, near those random shacks scattered around the map. The outskirts of some areas were surprisingly fruitful.
The whole thing was pretty time-consuming, I won’t lie. And frustrating, especially when you get taken out right before you can open a case. But, slowly but surely, my little map started filling up with locations. I felt like a real treasure hunter, only instead of gold, I was after, well, weapons.
After hours and hours of searching, getting eliminated, respawning, and searching some more, I finally had a pretty comprehensive list of weapon case locations.I eventually found most of the spots!

My big takeaway? Don’t just rely on one source. Check multiple guides, watch some gameplay, and most importantly, do your own exploring. You’ll be surprised where those cases pop up.
