Okay, so I’ve been digging into the history of Forbes Field in Pittsburgh, and let me tell you, it’s been a trip. I wanted to really get a feel for the place, even though it’s not there anymore, you know?
Getting Started
First, I scoured the internet for any old photos, maps, and articles I could find. It’s amazing what’s out there if you dig deep enough. I really wanted to create the view.
Building the Picture
I started putting together a timeline of the stadium. You know, when it was built, major games, that kind of stuff. It helped me get a sense of the place over time.
- Found some awesome old newspaper clippings. The language they used back then is so different!
- Discovered some cool stories about famous players who graced the field.
- Watched a few videos, good to image all the data.
Diving into Details
Then, I focused on the stadium’s layout and design.I sketched what I imagined to be the dimensions of the field.
Bringing it to Life (Sort Of)
Finally, I tried to imagine what it would have been like to be there. All about putting the pieces together, you know? And it was awesome!
