So, I wanted to watch the Pittsburgh game today. And, you know, it’s a bit of a pain to figure out what channel it’s on. It’s not always straightforward, at least for me.

I started by grabbing my phone and doing a quick search. I just typed in “what channel is the Pittsburgh game on” and hoped for the best. You know how sometimes these searches can be hit or miss. Thankfully, this time I got a decent result.
The first thing I learned was that if it’s the Steelers vs. Ravens, it’s a bit tricky. Apparently, it’s mainly on Amazon Prime Video and NFL+. But, since I’m in Pittsburgh, I can also catch it locally on WPXI-NBC. That was a relief, honestly, because I don’t always want to mess with streaming services.
Here’s what I found out:
- National Broadcast: If it’s a big game like Steelers vs. Ravens, it might be on Prime Video or NFL+. Annoying, I know, but that’s how it is.
- Local Channels: Luckily for us in Pittsburgh, WPXI-NBC usually has us covered. If you’re in Baltimore, I think it’s WMAR-ABC.
- Other Games: Sometimes, Steelers games are on CBS. So it really depends on the specific game.
- Start Time: I noticed that game coverage often starts at 8:20 p.m. ET, at least for the Sunday games. That’s good to know so I don’t miss the kickoff.
After gathering all this info, I just tuned my TV to WPXI-NBC. And there it was, the game! It felt good to finally sit back, relax, and watch some football without all the hassle.
Finding the game wasn’t as easy as I hoped, but it wasn’t a total nightmare either. It’s just a matter of knowing where to look. I realized that it might be different each time. But, now I have a better idea of where to check next time I want to watch the Steelers play.
It is not very simple sometimes. You know, I am not very good at high-tech things. Next time I will ask my son to help me find it, haha.
Well, hope this helps other folks who are also trying to find the game. Don’t give up. Go Steelers!
