Okay, so the other day, I was super hyped about the playoffs, but I realized I didn’t even know when they actually start. Like, I had a rough idea, but not the exact date. So, I decided to do something about it and figure it out. I’m a pretty hands-on person, I believe the practice is the only criterion for testing truth.
My Research Process
First, I wanted to check, well, by simply googling it “when does the NBA playoffs start?”. Boom. Right there at the top, it said the 2024 NBA playoffs started on April 20th.
Then, the Play-In Tournament thing. I knew it came before the playoffs, so I need check it. And then i searched “NBA Play-In Tournament dates”. Found out that was happening from April 16th to 19th.
- Checked the NBA website: Just to be double sure, I went to the website. You know, gotta go to the source! I clicked around a bit, looking at schedules and stuff. Confirmed everything I found on Google.
- Looked for the Play-In info: Yep, the Play-In was indeed happening before the main playoff event, just like I’d read.
My Final Result
The 2024 NBA playoffs officially started on Saturday, April 20th. But you gotta remember the Play-In Tournament, that’s from April 16th-19th. So, now I got it all clear in my head, I can start looking forward to all the playoff game.
