Alright, let’s talk about my little adventure with “4 white horses.” Heard it tossed around as a riddle, a brain teaser, whatever. I figured, why not give it a shot, see what the fuss is about? So, I buckled down and here’s how it all went down.

First thing’s first, I googled it. Yeah, yeah, I know, real original, right? But hey, gotta start somewhere. Saw a bunch of different interpretations, from the biblical to just plain weird. Decided to ignore all that noise and just try to think it through myself. That’s when I really started to break it down.
I grabbed a pen and paper – old school, I know. I started by just writing “4 white horses” at the top. Then I just started listing everything that came to mind when I thought about those words. White…clean…pure…horses…fast…strong…carriage? Okay, maybe a bit random, but I was just brainstorming. I filled an entire page with garbage and ideas!
Then it hit me – what if it’s not literal horses? What if it’s something that just looks like horses, or maybe acts like horses in some way? I switched gears and started thinking about things that come in groups of four. Seasons? Nope. Cardinal directions? Nah. Then I thought about something moving.
This is where I got a little weird. I started muttering to myself, pacing around the room. My wife walked in and gave me that look, you know the one. I just waved her off and kept at it. I started visualizing things. Wheels, gears, machines… and that’s when it clicked.
I shouted “A hearse!” My wife nearly jumped out of her skin. Apparently, I was louder than I thought. Anyway, a hearse! It has four horses (metaphorically, of course), and it carries something white (usually a coffin, sadly). Plus, it’s kinda morbid, which fits the riddle vibe.

I jumped back online to see if I was even close. And lo and behold, a lot of people had the same answer: A hearse. I felt pretty good about myself at that point. I figured it out, or at least stumbled upon the right answer. Regardless, I had it!
So, yeah, that’s my “4 white horses” story. Not exactly groundbreaking stuff, but it was a fun little mental workout. Plus, it gave me something to blog about! Learned something, solved a riddle, and made my wife think I was losing it. All in all, a successful day.
To sum it up:
- I heard the riddle.
- I Googled it (shamefully).
- I brainstormed like crazy.
- I annoyed my wife.
- I yelled the answer.
- I blogged about it.
Hope you enjoyed my random thought process! Until next time!
