Okay, so I’ve been trying to get my golf swing in better shape, and I stumbled upon this name – David Wells. Apparently, he’s got some good drills, so I figured I’d give it a shot. Here’s how it went down.

First Steps: Finding the Drills
First thing I did was hit up the internet, you know, just a simple search. I found a bunch of stuff about David Wells, different websites, and some videos.
The Practice Session
So, today I headed out to the driving range. It was, well, it was sunny, not too crowded. I grabbed my clubs and a bucket of balls, and found a spot to set up.
- I started with some easy swings, just trying to get a feel for the club and warm up my muscles. you know, keep it loose.
- Then I remembered something about keeping my lead arm straight, so I focused on that for a few swings. It felt a little weird at first, but I think it helped.
- I tried to work on my posture, too, I bend my knees, and keep my back as straight as possible.
- I also remembered somthing about my hip, then I swing my club and rotate my hip.
The Results (So Far)
Honestly, it’s still early days. I hit some good shots, and I hit some bad ones. But, I think focusing on these basics, did make a bit of a difference. My swing felt a little smoother, maybe a little more powerful.
I’m definitely going to keep working at it. I’ll hit the range again next week, and see if I can keep improving. It’s all about practice, right?
