Okay, so today I decided to check out Citizens Bank Park, you know, where the Phillies play. I’ve always heard about it, so I figured, why not go see it for myself?

Getting Started
First thing I did was look up some basic info. Where is it exactly? How do I get there? What’s the best way to, like, actually experience the place? I wasn’t even sure what I would experience yet, this was just a spontaneous thought, haha.
The Trip
So, I hopped in my car, and followed the directions. I have to say the drive wasn’t anything special at all. I eventually rolled up to the stadium, and it’s pretty big, impossible to miss. Parking was kind of a hassle, I can never figure out where the best parking spot is.
Exploring the Park
I walked around the outside first. They have these huge statues of famous players, which was really cool for photo ops. I recognized some of the names, but a lot of them were from way before my time. It was a history lesson just walking around.
- Took pictures: Snapped a few shots of the statues and the outside of the stadium. Classic tourist stuff!
- Walked the perimeter: Just kind of soaked it all in, you know? Got a feel for the size of the place. It’s HUGE.
- Checked out the team store: Because, why not? Almost bought a hat, but I held off.
Wrapping Up
All in all, it was a cool little adventure. It’s one of those things you gotta do if you’re in the area. I don’t know, I guess I’ll probably go back sometime again, maybe when I have a better plan, I just had to do something today, haha.
