So, I’ve been digging into this “Choir of One” thing in Destiny 2. I heard that it is a pretty cool weapon, and I wanted to get my hands on it. Turns out, you gotta finish this thing called “Encore” to unlock it. It’s a mission, an “Exotic” one at that.

I was playing through the Echoes episode, and once I got to Act 3 of the campaign, I was golden. You just chat with Failsafe, and then boom, you can start the mission right from the map of the H.E.L.M. It was actually pretty easy to find.
Once I got into the mission, it was a bit of a grind. I played for a while to complete all the required steps. It definitely took some time. I wouldn’t say it was super hard, but it wasn’t a walk in the park either. You gotta focus and get through all the steps they throw at you.
Getting the Roll I Wanted
Then came the part about getting the right “god roll” for this weapon. I really wanted to make sure I got a good one. I did some reading, and folks were saying that “Onslaught” is the way to go for PvP. It makes the gun shoot faster if you get a kill, which sounds pretty sweet in the Crucible.
- Onslaught: This perk was the main thing I was after. The idea of shooting faster after a kill just sounded awesome.
- Stability and Handling: These are still important, you know? You want the gun to feel good and not jump around too much.
- Range: Some people were saying to focus on range too, so I kept that in mind. More range never hurts, right?
So, I started grinding for that roll. I mean, I played that mission over and over again. I was determined to get that Onslaught perk. It took a while, but finally, I got it! I was so stoked.
I jumped into some PvP matches to try it out. Man, that increased fire rate is no joke! It definitely felt like it helped me take down other Guardians faster. I was winning more gunfights, that’s for sure.

So yeah, that’s my story about getting the Choir of One and the god roll I wanted. It took some effort, but it was totally worth it. If you’re thinking about going for it, just be prepared to put in some time. Good luck, Guardians!
