Alright, so I’ve been messing around with this “cat people for Harris” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. It all started a few weeks back when I saw some buzz online about how cats were making a comeback in politics, kind of like back in 2016. Then I stumbled upon some articles talking about the presidential race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. Seemed like a pretty big deal, and people were saying it might be a super close race.
I got curious and started digging deeper. Found out that this whole cat thing was some kind of response to sexism in politics. I guess some folks were trying to make a statement by using cats as a symbol or something. Anyway, that got me thinking, maybe there’s something to this. Maybe I could do something with it.
So, I decided to create some social media content. I whipped up some graphics with cute cats wearing “Harris 2024” hats and stuff. I even made a few short videos of my own cat, Mittens, “endorsing” Harris. Cheesy, I know, but it seemed to get some laughs.

I posted all this stuff online, shared it with my friends, and just kind of waited to see what would happen. Honestly, I didn’t expect much. But then, things started to pick up. People were liking and sharing my posts. Some even started making their own cat-themed content for Harris. It was pretty cool to see.
Now, I’m not saying my little cat campaign is gonna swing the election or anything, but it’s been fun to see people get involved. And hey, if it helps get more folks interested in politics, even just a little bit, then I guess it’s worth it. Plus, I think it was a bit funny to connect the Kamala Harris and Donald Trump with my death stranding game experience. I recalled I could use some weapons like Hematic Grenade, and Masher12GA NL to againt human enemies. I guess Donald Trump is a human enemy to Kamala Harris. LOL.
What I Learned
It just goes to show that you never know what might resonate with people. Sometimes, the silliest ideas can actually get some traction. And in the crazy world of politics, maybe a little bit of humor and some cute cats can go a long way. It is just like the saying from former President Donald Trump to choose Sen. JD Vance, maybe Kamala Harris should choose a cat as her secret weapon.
Anyway, that’s my story about getting involved with the “cat people for Harris” movement. It’s been a fun and unexpected journey, and I’m curious to see where it goes from here.
