Alright, so I finally got my hands on a 675r Triumph Daytona. I’d been eyeing this bike for what felt like forever, and boom, there it was. First things first, I gave it a good once-over. Checked the tires, oil, fluids – all that basic stuff. You know, make sure it wasn’t going to explode on me the first time I took it out.

Then, I hopped on. The seating position is pretty aggressive, definitely more race-oriented than my old bike. I fired up the engine, and man, that triple-cylinder sound… it’s something else. Seriously, it just rumbles and growls.
The First Ride
- Easing into it: I started slow, just getting a feel for the throttle and brakes. Everything felt super responsive, almost twitchy at first.
- Opening it up: Once I got comfortable, I started pushing it a little harder. Holy smokes, this thing is fast. The acceleration is insane, it just pulls and pulls.
- Cornering: I took it on some twisty roads, and it handled like a dream. Leaned it over, and it felt planted and stable.
After that first ride, I was grinning like an idiot. I spent the next few hours just riding around, getting used to the bike, and enjoying the heck out of it. I even stopped at a cafe and just stared at it for a while. Yeah, I’m that guy.
Making it Mine
I can already see myself modifying it. I am looking at a new exhaust, frame sliders, and some smaller things to make it look my personal style. I’ve been watching videos, and reading forms to get ideas on what I want to do to make it the perfect bike. It’s going to be awesome!
Basically, I spent the whole day either riding the Daytona or thinking about riding the Daytona. It’s a fantastic machine, and I’m completely stoked to have it. I’m absolutely going to keep practicing and hope one day to take it to the track.
