Broncos Playoff Chances: Are They a Contender or Pretender? Heres the Latest!

Hey everyone, I gotta share my rollercoaster experience figuring out the Broncos’ playoff chances. It’s been a wild ride, let me tell you!

Broncos Playoff Chances: Are They a Contender or Pretender? Heres the Latest!

So, I started digging into this whole mess after that crazy Week 17 game. I mean, we lost to the Bengals, which really threw a wrench in things. I grabbed my laptop and started hitting up every sports site I could think of.

First thing I found was that our chances were, well, not great. I saw one place saying we had an 83% chance, then another saying it was 74%. Then after the loss to the Bengals, I saw a number like 59%. Talk about a rollercoaster of emotions, sheesh! But hey, I’m a die-hard fan, so I wasn’t giving up that easy. I kept digging.

Turns out, it all boiled down to this last game of the season against the Chiefs. We’re at home, which is good, I guess. If we win or even tie, we’re in. Simple, right? But then, there’s this whole other scenario where we could still get in even if we lose.

  • If the Dolphins and the Bengals both lose or tie their games, we’re still golden.

I read somewhere that we’re probably gonna be the number 7 seed if we make it. That means we’ll probably face the Bills. Yikes! They’re a tough team, but you never know what could happen in the playoffs.

I spent hours, seriously, hours, looking at all the different possibilities. My wife even started teasing me about it. I had all these numbers and scenarios floating around in my head. I even started making notes, trying to keep it all straight. Then I found another article saying that we are the favorites to earn the last playoff spot over the Miami Dolphins and Cincinnati Bengals!

What I Figured Out

Okay, so here’s the deal, after all this digging, I figured out a few things. To get a playoff berth, we gotta win or tie against the Chiefs. We also need to keep playing like we have been, especially in those key areas I read about in that one article. It’s all about staying consistent and playing smart.

It’s been a wild ride, folks, but I’m feeling cautiously optimistic. We’ll see what happens on Sunday! Go Broncos!
