Brandon Ingram to Warriors: Dream Trade or Just a Fantasy? Find Out Now

Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this trade idea, right? Brandon Ingram to the Warriors. I know, it sounds a bit crazy, but hear me out. I spent a good chunk of my day diving deep into this, and I think I’ve got something that might just work.

First off, I started by looking at Ingram’s situation. The dude’s gonna be a free agent next summer, and he’s looking for that big, juicy contract. He’s making $36 million this year, which is a lot of dough, and it’s the last year of his deal. So any team that trades for him has to think about whether they’re willing to give him that max, or near-max, contract he’s probably gonna want.

Then I looked at Ingram’s game. He’s 6’8″, 196 pounds, so he’s got the size. But I noticed his passing isn’t exactly top-tier. He could be a bit quicker and more accurate, you know?

After that, I shifted my focus to the Warriors. They’ve got some young players like Kuminga, Moody, and Podziemski. And they might be able to trade Schroder if they need to. So they’ve got some pieces to work with. The idea I’ve been toying with is a three-team trade. I read somewhere that the Warriors might swap Chris Paul and Moses Moody for Ingram.

So, I started playing around with different trade scenarios, trying to make the salaries match and all that. I spent hours on this, I’m not even kidding. It’s like putting together a giant puzzle. I even started scribbling down notes on a napkin at one point – it got pretty intense. I even tried to look this up, found someone named Greg Swartz from Bleacher Report talking about it, which was kinda validating.

I imagined Ingram playing alongside Steph Curry. I mean, that could be a seriously dynamic duo. I think Ingram could really thrive in the Warriors’ system, and he’d take some of the scoring pressure off of Steph. Plus, the Warriors need another star to really compete, and Ingram could be that guy. I mean, the report I read called him the “perfect co-star” for Steph, and I can see that. If you think about it this could really work!

Finally, I realized I had a pretty solid trade proposal. I was so excited that I even called up my buddy who’s a huge basketball fan to get his opinion. He was a bit skeptical at first, but after I explained my reasoning, he started to come around. We spent the rest of the evening debating the pros and cons, and it was a blast.

I’m still not 100% sure if this trade will actually happen. There are a lot of moving parts, and it’s ultimately up to the teams to decide. But I think it’s a really interesting idea, and it’s definitely something for Warriors fans to think about.

  • I spent a good portion of my day researching this.
  • I analyzed Ingram’s contract situation and his game.
  • I looked at the Warriors’ roster and their potential trade assets.
  • I formulated a three-team trade scenario that I think could work.
  • I discussed the idea with my friend and got his feedback.

I’m really happy with how this turned out. It was a fun and challenging project, and I learned a lot about the NBA, player contracts, and trade mechanics. I’m excited to see what happens with Ingram and the Warriors in the future. Maybe I should send this idea to their managers?
