Okay, so I’ve been seeing these “bracket predictions” challenges all over the place, and I finally decided to give one a shot. I mean, how hard could it be, right? Famous last words.

Getting Started
>
First, I needed to find a bracket. I just Googled around and found a popular one for some sports tournament. I don’t really follow sports, but hey, that’s not the point, right? It’s all about the predictions.
I printed out the bracket, and wow, it was a lot of blank spaces. Intimidating, to say the least. I stared at it for a good ten minutes, feeling completely clueless.
The “Strategy” (or Lack Thereof)
>
I figured I needed some kind of system, you know? I couldn’t just randomly pick names. So, here’s what I came up with (don’t judge):

- Mascot Matchup: If I knew anything about the teams, I considered which mascot would win in a fight. Fierce tiger versus a… uh… bird? Tiger wins, obviously.
- Color Coordination: When I had absolutely no clue, I went with whichever team had cooler colors. Shallow, I know, but it’s a strategy!
- Coin Flip: For the really tough calls, I literally flipped a coin. Heads for one team, tails for the other. Scientific, right?
Filling It Out
>
Armed with my “foolproof” system, I started filling in the bracket. It took a while, mostly because I had to keep Googling mascots and team colors. Some of those mascots are… weird. Really weird.
The coin flip came in handy more than I’d like to admit. I started to feel a little silly, but hey, I was committed at this point.
The Result
>
I’ve now got a completed bracket! It’s a beautiful mess of colors and questionable logic. Will it win? Probably not. Do I care? A little. But hey, I did it. I made bracket predictions. And that’s a win in my book, even if my bracket ends up totally busted after the first round.

I made some refinements based on the bracket I picked and the first few results. But, I’m sticking with my initial gut feelings (and coin flips) for the rest. It might turn into a legendary disaster. We’ll see!
